Recent days of unseasonable warmth were swept away by a cold front crossing the United Kingdom and western Europe. Not only is cooler air rushing across the region, but periods of rain as well. Thursday was the hottest day of the week in London and the rest of southern England. In fact, it was the warmest September day in London since 2006 as the high reached 29.5 degrees C (85.1 degrees F). After four straight days of high temperatures reaching 26 degrees C (78 degrees F) or greater in London, temperatures are expected to reach only 18 degrees C (65 degrees F) on Friday. The cooldown will also reach France on Friday following several days of temperatures over 31 degrees C (88 degrees F). In fact, some parts of France experienced their warmest September temperatures in almost a decade. The high on Thursday reached a sizzling 33 degrees C (91 degrees F) in Paris, one of the hottest September days in recent years. A cold front brought showers and thunderstorms across France and northern Spain Thursday night into Friday. Some of the thunderstorms contained strong winds and hail near Paris. Behind this frontal boundary cooler air will arrive on Friday leading to highs only near 24 degrees C (75 degrees F). At this time, it appears the front will stall east of Paris, leading to dry and seasonable weekend for the city. While Paris enjoys several days of pleasant weather following the frontal passage, the United Kingdom will not be as lucky as a cut-off low pressure system sits overhead leading to the threat of showers which can contain heavy downpours through the weekend.

User data stored in the Container is protected from malware and phishing attacks as well as hacking attempts on physical devices when they are stolen or lost. Samsung originally announced the availability of Samsung KNOX for use by enterprise earlier this year, giving IT departments the comprehensive control they need, without infringing on employees privacy and keeping them satisfied with the consistent user experience of their personal device. Since then, Samsung has extended its security features to enable consumers to activate the container without involving the IT department and store important personal data inside the container. For example, important personal pictures or video can be stored with no worries of data leakage due to hacking. In addition, users may choose to store enterprise applications and data such as corporate email, contacts and calendar allowing the IT department to manage the container through EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server). These features make Samsung KNOX an ideal platform for BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device to work). Samsung KNOX represents Samsung s strong commitment towards making its devices BYOD-ready with the necessary security and feature enhancements, said Dr. Injong Rhee, Senior Vice President of KNOX Business Group, Samsung Electronics. We are delighted to see Samsung KNOX provide advanced data and privacy protection for both enterprises and consumers. The availability of Samsung KNOX to consumers will accelerate the adoption of Samsung devices for BYOD as prosumers can now readily experience Samsung KNOX with ease at no cost . Samsung KNOX-enabled devices are approved by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for use in DoD networks.

United Kingdom Quarterly Beverage Tracker Report Q1 2013

A lobby correspondent, seeing a prime minister concede defeat in a Commons vote, automatically thinks: “U-turn, humiliation”. A non-journalist is likelier to think: “Cameron listened to the country; what a nice change after Blair.” When the PM rose after the vote, I was expecting him to stall: to say that he took note of the wide variety of opinions expressed, that he would be making a statement in due course and yada yada. Instead, he was a model of dignity: he accepted with good grace that the country was against intervention, and promised to honour Parliament’s decision. No one could apply the word “dignity” to Ed Miliband’s revolting behaviour. While the debate was underway, I chided a handful of my fellow Conservatives for the tone of their attacks on the Opposition leader. When weighing a decision with life-or-death consequences, I Tweeted crossly, it was shallow to trot out soundbites about weak leadership. Miliband, I felt, might reasonably argue either for or against intervention, and deserved to be listened to with respect either way. The trouble is, he did neither. I don’t think anyone has the faintest idea whether he is for or against air-strikes. I’m not sure he has properly considered the question in his own mind. Instead, he was driven by two considerations. First, to show that he wasn’t Tony Blair.
